MUNCIE - Services were conducted Thursday at the Meeks Mortuary here for Hugh W. Robbins, 76, of Muncie who died at Ball Hospital Tuesday morning. He was born in Ladoga and had lived in Muncie for more than 45 years. Mr. Robbins was credit manager for the Central Indiana Gas Co. until his retirement in 1959. He was a member of Avondale United Methodist Church and Muncie Lodge 433, F&AM. Mr. Robbins served with the Army in France during World War I. Survivors include his widow, Avis; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Atkinson, Muncie; two sons, Enoch Robbins, South Bend, and Richard Robbins, Ann Arbor, Mich.; four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Kemper and Mrs. Mabel Sparger, both of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Anita Vice, Ladoga, and Mrs. Carrie Norris, Milwaukee; two brothers, Donald Robbins, Chicago, and Robert Robbins, Indianapolis; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.--waw
